Xbox 360 users can delete their Microsoft accounts by going to the “My Xbox” screen and clicking on the “Accounts” tab. From here, users can select the account they want to delete and click on the “Delete” button.
Your Microsoft account can’t be deleted right away. After you tap or click the Mark account for closure button, your account will be closed in 30 days. Your account is marked for closure while you wait, yet it remains active. If you wish to reactivate your Microsoft account, simply sign in again within 30 days.
It will not be feasible to reset your Xbox accomplishments or anything else in your Microsoft account without deleting it. To begin again, you’ll need to create a new Microsoft account and link it to your Xbox profile.
An account is required to play games on your Xbox console, Windows PC, and Xbox mobile applications. You can get a free account if you don’t already have one.
Select the Start button, then go to Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts. Select the account you want to delete under Accounts Used by Email, Calendar, and Contacts, then Manage. If you’re sure you want to remove this device’s account, select Delete. To finalize your decision, choose Delete.
To cancel the closure, log in to your account once more. The closing takes effect after 60 days, as stated on the website.
