If you have an account on PlayStation 4, there are a few ways to delete it. Here are the steps:
- Open the PlayStation 4 system menu and select “Settings.”
- Scroll down to “Accounts.”
- Select “Delete account.”
- Enter your name and password for the account you want to delete and press “delete.”

PS4 PSN locked out of the account solution
A PS4 account is locked for 3 days after the first suspension. Permanent locks are only applied after a second suspension.
You can delete a PSN account by going to the PSN website and selecting “Log Out” from the top right corner of the page. After this, you will need to create a new account and enter your password before logging in.
It is possible that your account was locked for having too many invalid login attempts. If this is the case, please wait at least 30 minutes before trying again.
When your PlayStation account is locked, it means you have been banned from the PlayStation Network. This could be because of a violation of the Terms of Service or Code of Conduct.
If you have the password, you can simply log in and delete your account. If you do not know the password, Sony will not be able to help you with this.
To delete a child’s account on PS4, you will need to log in to your account and go to the settings menu. From there, scroll down until you find “PlayStation Network/Account Management.” You should see an option for “Delete Account” which you can select.
Sony does not delete inactive PSN accounts. Sony’s policy is to keep the account active as long as they are receiving PlayStation Plus payments.
