- In the results of the command, find the user profile that you want to delete and right-click on it. From the menu that appears, select “Delete.” ..
From the start, launch Computer Management (as Administrator). Select Local Users and Groups > Users in the left pane. Remove the user by right-clicking it, selecting Delete, then Yes on the confirmation screen.
Both user-profile files and system data are stored in the Profiles directory, on a per-user basis. The user profile folder is a container for applications and other system components to populate with subfolders and custom data such as documents and configuration files.
Simply contact us during business hours or submit a request via our Help Center to have your user account deleted. Once your request has been approved, keep in mind that all of your personal information, including saved searches, home alarms, and newsletter subscriptions, will be removed.
In Control Panel, click Properties for the Operating System. Open the Advanced tab and then under User Profiles, select Settings. Delete the user profile you want from this computer by selecting it and then clicking Delete under Profiles stored on this computer.
You should never remove your NTUSER. DAT file since Windows relies on it to load your preferences and settings. If you take it away, your user profile will be damaged since Windows depends on it to do so. When you log in the following time, Windows will notify you that it is unable to access your user profile due to its removal.
