There are a few things you can do to help manage your budget on Mint. First, create a budget by selecting the “Budget” tab and entering your monthly spending amount. Second, select the “Delete” button to remove all of your budgeted money from Mint. Finally, review your budget every month to make sure that you’re staying within your limits.
Choose Accounts from the Reports menu. Select Budget Manager under Financial in the Reports menu. Choose your budget from the drop-down menu. The overall budget cannot be deleted, but it can be modified.
When you first launch the app, select Monthly from the bottom menu. pick this month’s budget. Select Expenses if you’re using an iOS device. To make a change, tap in the bar graph. When you tap in the bar graph, a notification will appear. Fill out the blanks
You may not delete any default categories or sub-categories natively, but you are free to create and remove as many custom sub-categories as you like. Because many of the built-in categories aren’t relevant to your financial situation, keeping them organized becomes a pain.
Click the Budget Option drop-down menu and choose Open Budget. Click the x in the bottom right corner of the budget you’d like to delete. If you’re sure it’s the one you want to delete, click the big red button.
Take notes on all of your earnings and expenditures. Make a list of all of your money spendings and repayments. Calculate how much money you have leftover after paying for everything. Work out how much money you have leftover when you subtract your bills from each other. Set a budget that you can follow. Make sure to end the month
Select Transactions from the top of the Mint screen. Select EDIT DETAILS to modify a transaction you want to hide or delete. If the transaction is pending or you added it by hand, choose to Delete this transaction in the bottom left corner.
