If you’re a PlayStation 4 user and have an account on another PS4, there are a few ways to deactivate your account from that console.

  1. Log into your account on the other PS4 and go to “Settings.” In the “Accounts” section, select “Deactivate my account.”
  2. Type in your password and click on the “Activate my account” button.
  3. If you’re using an online service like PlayStation Plus, you’ll need to provide your social security number and other personal information before activating your account. After activating your account, you’ll need to log out of both consoles in order to finish deactivating it.

If you’ve signed in to your PS4 with another person before, you can move accounts. Switching accounts on your PS4 is simple and may be done at any time by going to the Quick Menu. To access your own saved data and game progress, make sure you’re signed in to your account.

Right-click anywhere on your screen and click Lock Screen to lock it. Select the account you’d want to delete from Settings. From the left menu, select Users and Accounts. Select the user you wish to remove from Settings and follow the instructions.

If you want to remove a user profile from your PS4 or PS4 Pro, follow these steps: Select ‘User Management’ from the Settings menu. You can Create or Delete Users here. Choose ‘Delete User’ from the drop-down menu that appears.

Go to Settings. From the menu, choose “Login Setting.” Choose “User Management” from the menu. Select “Delete User,” then pick the profile you wish to remove. That’s all there is to it! You’ve successfully gotten rid of that obnoxious profile on your system.

Navigate to Login Settings on your PS4 and select Delete Account. Deletion of a PS4 user account will result in the loss of all data and screenshots linked to the account. You may also terminate a PlayStation network account, which is less severe but leads to the loss of your ID.
