If you’re like most people, you probably have a lot of storage space on your Mac. But if you’re like me, you also have a lot of clutter in your storage area. This can be a challenge to clear out because it can take up valuable space and make it difficult to use your Mac. Here are some tips to help clear out your storage area on a Mac:
- Start by sorting your items by type. If you have files that are text files, images, or videos, then put them all in one place and create a folder for them. This will make it easier to find and use the items later on.
- Create folders for each type of file that you want to store in your storage area. For example, if you have images and videos in one folder and text files in another, create folders for each type of file.
- Use an organizing tool to help organize your storage area. For example, I use FolderMaker Pro to create custom folders for my files so I can easily find what I need when I need it.
- Use an app called Disk Utility to clean up any leftover space on your hard drive or SSD and free up some space in your storage area for new files and applications!
