Microsoft account on Lumia devices are not as user-friendly as they used to be. In order to change your Microsoft account on a Lumia device, you will need to go through the following steps:

  1. Open the Settings app and navigate to Accounts and Sync.
  2. Scroll down and select Microsoft account from the list of options.
  3. Enter your new Microsoft account information into the fields below and click on the OK button to finish setting up your new Microsoft account on Lumia devices.
  4. Once you have set up your new Microsoft account on a Lumia device, you can use it to access all of your features and activities with ease!

Swipe left on the start screen. Scroll down to and select Settings. Tap email+accounts. Select an email account by tapping and holding on to it. Delete it by hitting the red trash can button beside it. To confirm, tap delete again.

Delete the PC App. To do so, go to “Control Panel” and select “PC app.” Select “Accounts” from the drop-down menu. Sign out of your old account by clicking on the gear icon. Uninstall the program and reinstall it. The account information will appear when you open it, allowing you to log in

Open Link to Windows on your Android device by going into the Quick Access menu and tapping and holding on the Link to Windows icon. Select Microsoft account from the drop-down menu. Your previously used Microsoft account email address may be found at Your Phone Companion, where you can click Remove account.

To erase your Gmail account, go to the Start screen and search for Settings > Accounts. Select Email & accounts from the drop-down menu. Select the account you wish to remove and then Manage from the drop-down menu under Accounts used by email, calendar, and contacts. To finish deleting your Gmail account: Go to Settings > Account preferences

Select Yes if you want to reset your password. Select Yes unless you know what a Sony Xperia phone is, in which case select No. … If the Enter password window isn’t closed by now, choose Forgot password?… Verify your identity. Before you can proceed with resetting your password, Microsoft must verify it. Get a verification code
