If you’re unhappy with Plex, cancelling your account is easy. Here’s how:

  1. Log in to your Plex account.
  2. Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Under “Settings,” click on “Account.”
  4. On the next page, click on “Cancel Account.” ..

Clicking the  Account  tab will take you to Plex’s main dashboard . To edit your account settings, click  Your Account  in the upper right-hand corner of your screen as shown below.

You may be prompted to log in again after clicking  Your Account. You can now select  Your Personal Info  from the drop down menu.

Now that you’re on your personal information page , you’ll see a  Delete Account  button at the bottom of your screen (as shown above). Selecting this button will allow you to delete all media data associated with your Plex account and cancel any billed subscriptions. Please note that there is no “partial” deletion option when it comes to plex accounts  –  this means if you cancel your account,  all  data  associated  with  your  account   will  be removed .

This guide is for those who wish to completely remove all media and other related content from their plex accounts. NOTE:  If you select  delete  your  account,  you will  be prompted with a final screen confirming that this action cannot be undone! Please ensure that you have all your related media and server data backed up before proceeding.
