If you’re an Amazon Prime member, there’s a good chance you know how to cancel your account. But if you’re not sure, here’s a guide on how to do it.
- Log into your Amazon Prime account and click on the “My Account” tab.
- Scroll down and click on the “Cancel My Account” button.
- Follow the prompts to cancel your account and be sure to save all of your information before clicking on the “Cancel My Account” button.
- Your Amazon Prime account will be cancelled and you will need to start over with a new one.
From the new page, select Manage Prime Membership from the bottom of the screen. Tap End Trial and Benefits to locate it. When prompted, choose Stop My Benefits and Continue to Cancel or Cancel Membership.
Why can’t I stop Prime before my membership expires? Because it’s a 30-day trial, you may cancel it early and not be charged. The program will cancel your trial at the end of that month, and there will be nothing else to worry about.
