If you’re a meetup organizer on the iPhone, there are a few things you can do to cancel a meeting.
- Open the app and select “Cancel Meeting.”
- Type in the meeting’s date and time and hit “Cancel Meeting.”
- Click on the “View Meeting” button to see what time and place the meeting will be held.

Go to your Settings page. scroll down and choose Deactivate Your Meetup Account. If you’re an organizer with active Meetup groups, follow the steps to step down as their organizer or close the groups. Enter your Meetup password. Click Submit to finalize the process.
Access your Meetup account settings. Select the settings area that allows you to cancel your membership. In the box provided, type your Meetup password.
When your Meetup account is canceled, you will no longer receive email or alerts from Meetup, and your profile will be removed from the site.

Log in to your Meetup account. To close a Meetup group, go to the group’s page. Select Manage Group from the drop-down menu. As Organizer, tap on Step Down. Choose why you’re deleting the group from the drop-down menu. Tap Delete Meetup on the left-hand side of this screen.
