Unroll Me, the popular app that promises to help you “unsubscribe from your email lists” has some users questioning its effectiveness. The app, which is available for both Android and iOS devices, asks users to input their email addresses and then provides a list of all the emails that user has subscribed to. Users are then asked to click on a button that says " unsubscribe from this list." However, some users have found that Unroll Me actually keeps them subscribed to all of their email lists even after clicking on the unsubscribe button. Others have found that Unroll Me does not work at all and instead just sends them an error message. So is Unroll Me actually unsubscribing users from their email lists? Or is it just doing something else entirely? ..


Although it isn’t likely to generate viruses or compromise your accounts, Unroll. I will no longer be safe to use if you want to keep your data private. Moving forward, the company will continue to collect and sell its users’ personal information.

Make sure you’re signed in to the same Google account on accounts.google.com. Under Connected apps sites, click Sign-in & security. Manage applications should be selected. Look for Unroll. me and press OK twice to expand it. Remove it by selecting Yes then OK.

If I delete my Unroll. Me account, what will happen to all of my previously rolled up emails? … Since we access them via IMAP, they’re stored safely in your email client. All of your previously rollup-up emails will remain in your “Unroll. Me” folder in your email client — even if you delete your Unroll.Me account.
