There’s a new way to order things on Amazon, and it’s called “hidden orders.” You can place an order without ever seeing the product or price list. Just enter in the information you want to buy and Amazon will take care of the rest. This new feature is perfect for those who are looking for a little extra privacy when shopping on Amazon. You can also use it if you’re not sure what you’re buying. Just enter in the product name, price, and shipping information and Amazon will take care of everything else for you. You can archive orders that you’re no longer interested in, or to remove them from the default order history view. To archive an order, go to Your Orders and select Archive order.
Your order history, which is automatically kept for 60 days, will be permanently deleted if you cancel an order. You may archive individual orders at your leisure; casual snoops will have a harder time determining what you’ve purchased. Go to Your Orders from your account settings and choose Hide Order.
